Installation

Option 1: Manual Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file
  2. Go to WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New
  3. Click "Upload Plugin"
  4. Select the ZIP file and click "Install Now"
  5. Activate the plugin

Option 2: FTP Installation

  1. Extract the plugin ZIP file
  2. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  3. Go to WordPress Admin > Plugins
  4. Find "Ask My Docs" and click "Activate"

Configuration

After activation, you need to configure the plugin:

  1. Go to Settings > Ask My Docs in WordPress admin
  2. Enter your Widget Key (starts with pk_) from your Ask My Docs dashboard
  3. Choose widget Position (bottom-right, bottom-left, top-right, or top-left)
  4. Check Enable Widget checkbox
  5. Click Save Settings

Important: Before using the plugin, configure the widget and API URLs in the plugin file for production use.

  • PHP 7.4 or higher
  • An active Ask My Docs account
  • Valid widget key from your dashboard
